UNBENT contains a combination of two patented nitrates in betaine nitrate and arginine nitrate. Nitrates fuel a separate nitric oxide pathway in the body from the Citrulline-->Arginine-->nitric oxide pathway, discussed below. Nitrates are converted to nitrite which are then converted to nitric oxide. This nitrate-->nitrite-->nitric oxide pathway is known to help support reduced blood pressure, improved blood flow, increased oxygen circulation, and cell metabolism. UNBENT includes a full 3,000mg of NO3-T, which supplies a total of 912mg of actual NO3! Taurine is a conditionally essential amino acid that is stored predominantly in the brain, heart, and skeletal muscle tissue. It acts as a potent antioxidant in the body, and (more importantly in the context of a hard training session) an osmolyte. Essentially, taurine encourages muscle cells to absorb and retain more water, improving cellular hydration, which enhances stamina, delays the onset of fatigue, and further contributes to the “water-fueled” pump phenomenon started by the combination of betaine and glycerol. *


VasoDrive-AP is a novel ingredient consisting of a patented, proprietary ingredient from two casein tripeptides -- Valyl-Prolyl-Proline (VPP) and Isoleucyl-Prolyl-Proline(IPP) -- that inhibits angiontensin-converting enzyme activity.
